It won a 1st Place at the 3rd Annual Thunder on the Lake in 1997. This year the Sturgis Rally the bike won 1st Place in the new Modified Stock category. This is a new category created by the judges. The were so impressed with the condition of the bike and the fact that it is all original except for the paint job.
